The Northwest United States is, in geological terms, an actual rainforest. Some of the most beautiful flora and fauna anywhere in the States can be found up here. There is no better witness to this fact than a hike in Rockport State Park, in the Cascade mountains. In many of the above photos, you will be able to see some of the most beautiful bits of Washington state nature.
